Extra-Curricular and Summer Programs

‍ ‍7 Weeks • 7 Disciplines • A Journey of Discover

June 15 through July 27, 2026

Daily from 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM EST.

‍ ‍Give your child a summer that builds confidence, creativity, and a love of learning.

A summer designed to support the natural curiosity of the child—where each week offers a new path of exploration within a consistent and thoughtful rhythm.

Rather than a one-size-fits-all program, families are invited to enroll week by week, choosing the experiences that best align with their child’s interests and summer plans. Each week stands on its own, while also allowing for deeper engagement over time.

Each week offers a distinct area of discovery:

Week 1 (June 15–19): The Art of Expression — Create Your Inner World
Week 2 (June 22–26): The Architecture of Ideas — Design Your World
Week 3 (June 22–26):: The Mind of an Engineer — Build the Impossible
Week 4 (July 6–10): The Wonders of Life — Explore the Living World
Week 5 (July 13–17): The Power of Ideas — Think Like an Entrepreneur
Week 6 (July 20–24): The Stories of Humanity — Travel Through Time
Week 7 (July 27–31): The Power of Words — Tell Your Story

Guided by Montessori principles and led by experienced educators, children engage in meaningful work through hands-on exploration, thoughtful discussion, and collaboration with peers.

Whether joining for a single week or several, each experience is complete in itself—while offering the opportunity for deeper connection, confidence, and growth over time.

Enrich the Journey with Our Exciting Extracurriculars!
At Modern Montessori, learning doesn’t stop at the core curriculum. Our extracurricular offerings are a chance for students to explore passions, try new things, and grow in joyful, unexpected ways.

For the Spring 2026 semester we are excited to offer:

  • Conversational Spanish: Mondays
Back by popular demand, Conversational Spanish introduces students to practical, spoken language in a warm and engaging way. Through games, stories, and real-life situations, students build confidence, curiosity, and a growing appreciation for language in an increasingly global world.

  • STEM Studio: Tuesdays
STEM Studio is designed for students who enjoy problem-solving, experimentation, and understanding how things work. Through hands-on challenges and guided exploration, students engage with the engineering design process as they build, test, revise, and refine their ideas. Each session encourages curiosity, persistence, and creative thinking while helping students deepen their understanding of the world around them.

  • Video Game Design: Thursdays

Video Game Studio introduces students to the creative process behind the games they love. Through hands-on projects, students explore the basics of game design, including simple coding, character development, level design, and logical problem-solving. With an emphasis on creativity, experimentation, and iteration, this studio supports beginners while encouraging students to turn ideas into playable experiences.

Each session is 45- 60 minutes long and runs for a full 15-week semester. There is a separate fee for each class and sibling discounts are available. Materials lists will be provided.

Each semester’s offerings evolve based on student interest.
