Admissions

At Modern Montessori, enrollment begins with getting to know one another.

Choosing a school is a thoughtful decision, and we believe the best learning environments are built on strong relationships. Before paperwork or payments, we take time to learn about your child, share how our programs work, and explore whether Modern Montessori may be a good fit for your family.

We begin with a relaxed Zoom conversation where families can ask questions, talk through goals, and better understand our approach to online Montessori learning.

The “Let’s Connect” link below will take you to our scheduling page for that conversation.

What to Expect in the Admissions Process

Our admissions process is designed to be clear, supportive, and personalized.

  1. Schedule a family conversation
We’ll meet via Zoom to learn about your child’s strengths, interests, learning style, and needs. We’ll also share how our programs are structured and answer your questions. There is no pressure to enroll during this conversation.

  2. Placement guidance and next steps
Following our conversation, we’ll recommend the most appropriate program and placement based on your child’s age, development, and goals.

  3. Enrollment forms and confirmation
If you decide to move forward, you’ll receive enrollment forms and details specific to your child’s program.

  4. Tuition selection and deposit
Families choose a tuition plan and submit a deposit to secure their child’s space.

  5. Orientation and classroom access
You’ll receive orientation information, classroom access details, and support as your child prepares to begin.

Modern Montessori offers a dynamic, child-centered online learning environment grounded in authentic Montessori principles. Our team of internationally trained and Montessori certified guides foster your child’s love of learning through live, interactive lessons in our Zoom classrooms and create individualized follow-up work building independence, confidence, and curiosity every day.

Eligibility and Placement

To support a successful online learning experience, students should have:

  • reliable internet access

  • a quiet, consistent space for live Zoom lessons

  • the ability to engage respectfully in a small group setting, with age-appropriate support

Placement is based on a combination of age, developmental readiness, and academic needs. Final placement decisions are made collaboratively with families following the initial conversation.
